Octane Pigs

Octane Pigs
By WAYNE Modz

Hey everybody!
Since ive been racing legally and trying to get the full potential of my engine,
ive recently started doing research on fuel... those of you from south Africa,
should know our highest octane available is 95....

So ive been on a journey trying to find which octane booster works and which is worth buying.
im gonna try keep this quiet short, please note this review is based on my experience with the mentioned products and the product may work different for you as my engine has a different compression ratio, capacity etc...
Note its called octane pigs because ive just randomly chose products as i came across them and tested them immediately.

First pig ever was the NF20...
lovely stuff! at R120, it really made the power curve smooth...didnt feel such a kick but definitely potent! you can increase your timing here quiet a bit.

Second pig was NOS Brand octane booster,
really cant say much, quiet pricey for about R200 - R250 depending where you buy it from...
i really cannot comment as their was no difference for me.

Redex by Holts!
now this is where the whole octane pigs mission really exciting!
while visiting newcastle kzn for work(inland area),
just trying the product to clean the injectors, surprised me,
a bottle costing R20 diluted with 20Llitres fuel! and the car felt like its on the coast!
Come back to the coast! and car is really at its peak! i have never enjoyed my car more!
my car generaly tops out 191km/h and with this product i manage to push my car 202km/h and it was a real fun experience! i really llove this product for its price.

Wynns Spitfire
i kind of really expected this big to be potent ,had a strong smell! smelt like nitro,
mixed with 20litres fuel... not so impressive after the redex. Mixed with Wynns Injector cleaner some barely results were felt.

The Daddy Pig!
TOLUENE
straight the point but proven today! toluene is the daddy of octane!
rated at 114 and if diluted correctly you can obtain 96, 98, 100 , 102 , 107...
tested today at 95 pushed to 95.7 octane! the car with 95 clocked a speed off 179 and with todays mix 190km/h. the car push alot more torque and the fumes smell less harmful! i only see positive things about this product.

Mixing Chart
for the people that trust my info/research/techniques, ive put together some home brew octane recipes. Please check you compression specs, id suggest a car with compression of 10.0:1 stay under 98.... cars with 11.0 everyday use mild cams 100, 102 for above factory spec and especially cars running individual throttles. 107 is at your own risk!
the end product should be 20litres.

095 To 096.5 - 18.4 Petrol 1.58 Toluene
095 To 098.0 - 16.8 Petrol 3.16 Toluene
095 To 100.0 - 14.7 Petrol 5.26 Toluene

102 and 107 ratios are highly confidential. can be made on request,
this requires a few more agents to be added. Try the above and post comments.

Please handle these products with care and this is not something to be handled by minors or left in area's accessible to minors.
