After all these years the government thinks reducing the speed limit will help.... Everyone that has been in charge knew that accidents were caused @ 120km/h.... This is just an act to say we have tried! If the government wants to help reduce accidents, they should have daily blocks on all public transport, they need to ban alcohol from the country but they won't because they make too much money from it. Reducing the speed limit will only let them make more money from people who still drive 120. Compare that to banning alcohol? What's more important? Which will make a difference? Do I need a degree too see that? Speeding accidents can happen @ 100, at 80.... They even happen at 160 200....there's no way off making our roads safer, its our drivers! Even if you ban performance modifications or ban high performance cars...its generally the public driving their normal corolla's and mazda midges ,etc still causing accidents and they most dangerous one is the hi-ace and quantum. Government needs to limit public transport vehicles too no more than 140 or 120 since they only allowed to drive 100.....
