Before you read this, get a cup of coffee ,two roti rolls or maybe a quarter bunny chow cause this will take a while, if you at work do it on your lunch break.
2ndly if you wanna be immature and be too stubborn to understand this note, then FCUK off,
go find something too do.
anyways doo be doo was released,
and i was off my head, i begged my brother to get me that cd...
killed that track and it died, anyways it was school days, we never saw the bigger
picture, now couple years later i have time to play the entire cd NOMVULA...
look at the band, its diverse, its got men and woman ,black and white(im sure they have indian accountants, lawyers) its white men playin instruments found in black cultures, its a black woman singing in the white mans english, they are using the words off today with the rhythm and beats that made music what it is in this country. Music that becomes so popular so easily is played just too make you popular...think about it, when last did you play jamelia - superstar? or 101 - who's it gonna be? what about akon - just wanna love you? or baby bash - dont stop? those tracks just hit the wall and fall down... but with freshly ground, its simple you in or you out! once you like it , it means you have felt it,
im gonna be playing freshlyground content at all future car shows, i dont care what people think off it cause i feel it! it has meaning from the grounds off our country, spoken in the fresh language off today and made by people who represent all the cultures that make us south africans. Its clean music...
its based on the music that taught this country too dance.
If we could go back into time, and visit an ancient tribe,
give then mzekezeke, dj cleo, mean mr mustard, dozi or freshlyground,
which artist you think would they dance too? which music with they feel?
and guess what...the people off today are feeling the same choice...
thats freshlyground, fresh from the grounds!
ok so you understand the band but why name the car?
Firstly before the long story, every citi golf has its own clothes, its own story too be
told...i own a limited edition golf but its even more limited cause the story
that i plan to embed into the car. if you dont understand it you wont feel it...
CITI MK1, the last citi golfs too ever be produced in the world,
people such as myself who would prefer other cars (toyota!!!) will
still appreciate this car for what it stands for, the citi mk1 is a definition of
infinite possibility's ,forever young, always there...its the greatest car
ever made by VW and its the car that gives VW its definition...
VOLKSWAGEN, people's cars...as south africa being the only country
to continue production somewhere in your life you had to own a citi golf!
its raw, its fun, it rattles and spins, its a thrill cause its a real car,
if you want comfort and safety go buy a corsa ... VW has the polo and golf 3/4/5
so technology and comfort is not an issue, the citi gives you an opportunity too feel the basics!
the citi golf has changed with accessories and performance over the years, the chassis and setup has remained the same, its a feeling that passed on with the generations over the years but at the same time being able to too be fresh, to speak the modern language, to adapt too the new times yet still maintain the basics.... its a feeling you cant explain,
you will never appreciate your R650 000 E90 M3 until you experience a citi...
low maintenance ,readily spares and affordability with economy...this compact car
basically became a hand bag too you...
it came in different colors different styles and it was never a failure,
its diverse and is for everyone just like our country...
we can h8 s.a as much as we want...i hate south africa's ways...truely but
you have to appreciate your home ground... you are south african,
you descend here cause someone who had is responsibility for your creation came here for a reason...
blacks were here, so the land belongs too them but what we have here today is because off being together, the white people who came to educate them and brought indian people as the middle men, we all worked together to make the country the place it is....
its just a shame that this place is run by alot off people who arent so intelligent but the world is turning right, live ur own life, u dont have to take that shower and expect to be ok the way he did...
lol but yeah CITI MK1, A legend on south african roads, that has touched this ground more than anything else...and off coarse it had to be driven, this is the car that drove you ;-) too your country.
